Project narrative

The Chinese government has pledged grant aid for improvement to the Patuxay Park and provision of office equipment in Laos. The signing ceremony for the grant aid took place on November 19, 2004 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The grant aid comprises two parts: 1) Office equipment worth 1.9 million yuan to the Lao People Revolutionary Party Central administrative office and 2) 10 million yuan for the Patuxay Park improvement project. This grant aid was part of the Chinese government's contribution to the success of Asean Summit, Asean + 3, and Asean + 1 meetings. The Agreement was co-signed by Deputy Prime Minister of Laos, Mr. Somsavad Lengsavat and Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Liu Yong Xing.
