Project narrative

China has granted 86,639 USD in aid to help Laos buy treatment medication for drug addicts. The aid hand-over was made at a ceremony which was attended by Linthong Phetsavanh, Head of the Lao National Commission for Drug Control and Supervision, and Anguojun, Deputy Secretary of the Chinese Committee for Drug Control. The money will be used to construct a drug addict treatment and rehabilitation center in Oudomsay province and to help train center staff and supply necessary medicines. The handover ceremony took place on September 15, 2015
