Project narrative

In October 2013, China signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement (ETCA) for a 100 million RMB grant to Laos for unspecified purposes. This ETCA was signed in the same meeting as five other agreements, including the revision of the plan to build an International Convention Centre; the resurfacing of Road No.13 north; the handover of 10 sets of drying kilns; the handover of two MA60 aircrafts and the handover of US$200,000 to the Lao government to assist with dengue prevention project.
