Description

In January 2007, China and Madagascar signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement. Later, in July 2007, four deals were signed for a total of $78 million, including partial debt cancellation (#60823), an economic and technical cooperation agreement, a preferential loan for the construction of a 5-star hotel (#19609), and a donation of medicines. This was reported by Misa Irodia, the director of bilateral cooperation at the ministry of foreign affairs.
