Description

On January 7, 2011, Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu and Mauritius Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Development Pravind Kumar Jugnauth signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA). Under the terms of this ETCA, China’s Ministry of Commerce agreed to provide a $6 million grant for future projects to be agreed upon by both governments. The subsidiary projects financed with the proceeds from this grant agreement have not yet been identified.
