Description

On September 27, 2011, the governments of Liberia and China signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) through which China granted US$16 million to Liberia. Acting Foreign Minister Sylvester M. Grigsby signed on behalf of Liberia while Li Zhigong, Charge d' Affairs of the Chinese Embassy, signed for his government.Among the US$16 million, $6 million was distributed to the purchase of container scanner (#24920). The allocation of the remaining US$10 million is unknown.
