Description

In 2000, the Chinese Government provided a $175,119 grant for the construction of 20 demonstration bio-gas digesters in Kampala and Entebbe, among other places. This project was completed on December 31, 2000.

Additional details

The Chinese Government initially constructed 7 bio-gas projects in 1985 following signing of a Protocol on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the Chinese Government and the Government of Uganda.
