Description

On 15 January 2010, the Chinese Minister of Commerce signed an economic and technical cooperation agreement granting a total of $10 million USD to the Government of Tanzania to close funding gaps of unspecified projects. Of the total amount, $7.1 million USD was allocated towards Tanzania and the remaining $2.9 million USD was given to Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous area within Tanzania.
