Description

On June 12, 2008, Awad Ahmed al-Jaz, Sudanese Minister of finance and national economy, and Shi Quangsheng, Chinese Minister of Trade, signed an agreement for China to provide two grants of financial assistance to the Sudanese government. The ceremony was attended by Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Sudan's Vice-President and Xi Jinping, China's Vice-President. The amount and start and end dates are unknown.
