Description

On January 8, 2013, the Chinese government committed to grant 129 million USD to the government of Mauritania. The exact use of the funding is unclear. This grant was committed at the same meeting as a 131 million USD interest-free loan (see project #30373).According to the Chinese Embassy source, the funds will be used to benefit the Mauritanian people in the production and service areas.
