Description

On September 16, 2011 at the 11th Sino-Burundian Commission, the Chinese Government and the Government of Burundi signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) that committed an RMB 50 million grant for ‘priority projects to be specified’. The Chinese Vice Minister for Commerce Gao Hucheng and the Burundian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Augustin Sanze were presented for the signing ceremony. An RMB 100 million interest free loan agreement was also signed at that meeting (see Project ID #30480).
