Description

In December 2012, the Chinese Government pledged two 50 million RMB (16 million USD) grants to Rwanda (see project ID #30699 for the first of the two). The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for Rwanda, Louise Mushikiwabo, signed an agreement with the Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, Shu Zhan. During the same signing ceremony, China pledged to give Rwanda an interest-free loan of 120 million yuan (recorded in project ID #30175).
