On September 2, 2013, at the 10th ASEAN-China Expo, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang promised Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia, that the Chinese Government would provide an interest-free loan of RMB 200 million to Cambodia (see 'Chinese provide loans to Cambodia, again'). Then, on November 14, 2013, the Chinese Government and the Government of Cambodia signed an RMB 200 million interest-free loan agreement. The loan was intended for social and economic development projects (see 'China provides 33 mln USD in free-interest loan to Cambodia for development projects').
