Description

On June 7, 2009 the opening ceremony for a Chinese Government-funded anti-malaria center was held in Bata, Equatorial Guinea (see '我援赤几疟疾防治中心交接仪式在巴塔举行'). The project is also referred to as a Diseases Prevention and Control Center (see '经济及市场环境'). The anti-malaria center is housed within the General Hospital of Bata (see '对外投资合作国别（地区）指南 赤道几内亚' and '经济及市场环境'). The Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention implemented the project, and the Chinese Government provided equipment and medicines.
