Description

In 2008, China signed an agreement with Nepal to provide approximately 15 million USD in economic aid to Nepal. The aid will be used for road development, railway building, education scholarships, security, and tourism. Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and Nepali Foreign Minister Upendra Yadev signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments.
