Description

On November 21, 2003, China announced a grant of 3 billion XAF to the Republic of the Congo with the purpose of rebuilding the county's war-torn infrastructure. Chinese ambassador Wo Ruidi was quoted as saying that a Chinese team was in the country evaluating the construction needs. The projects funded with this grant and their statuses are yet unknown.
