Free-standing technical assistance
In November 2010, Chinese Premier Wen Jiaobao announced during the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation that China would help train 1,500 officials and technical personnel in Portuguese speaking countries (Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and Timor-Leste), give full support to the establishment of a training center affiliated to the Forum in Macao SAR. The status of the project is uncertain.
