Project narrative

On November 24th, 2019 the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Wang Shi Ting was an invited guest of the 31st Kakube Festival Celebration in Nandom, Upper West Province and on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Ghana had presented Ghana's Interior Minister Ambrose Dery and the local governor with a donation of grain grinders, sewing machines, perming machines, looms, footballs, and other materials to the low-income communities of Nandom. At the ceremony was also the Vice President of Ghana, Bawumia, along with 2,000 attendees.
