Project narrative

Between June and September 2022, China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) donated packs containing rice, grains, oil, sugar and other necessities to 800 flood victims near the city of Sukkur in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The donation was handed over by CSCEC workers from the Sukkur-Multan Section of the Karachi-Lahore Highway. The donations were made in response to severe flooding that wrecked Pakistan between July and August 2022. During this same time frame, CSCEC also donated PKR 600,000 (captured in Record ID#100015), organized free medical clinics (captured in Record ID#100014), and later donated another PKR 10 million in supplies and funds (captured in Record ID#100231).
