Project narrative

On March 4, 2022, the Chinese Government donated medical equipment to Guyana’s Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC). The donation was provided through the 17th Chinese medical team to Guyana. The medical equipment is worth approximately USD 129,000 and will be used to benefit the ophthalmology, general surgery, gynecology and nephrology departments of GPHC. The specific contents of the donation are unknown.
