Project narrative

In 2022, China contributed to a project which had the goal of strengthening the capacity of national institutions to support food-insecure and nutritionally vulnerable populations in Somalia. The project entailed the provision of technical support for strengthening national policies, capacities and systems. It was implemented by the World Food Programme and had a total value of USD $4,973,023. Other nations contributed as well, including Denmark, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Japan, Italy, and Canada. The end date of the program is expected to be in 2025.
