Full Description

Project narrative

The ninth medical team to Malawi arrived in November 2021 to carry out a year-long medical mission (see Record ID#100114). On October 13th, 2022, members of the Chinese Medical Team (CMT) working at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) and Mzuzu Central Hospital (MCH) on Wednesday took their services to Mtsiriza, a location on the outskirts of Lilongwe, where they conducted a day-long free clinic to the residents. The team provided basic physical examination for the residents and made some medical suggestions, prescriptions and treatment to those found with health issues. They also donated a batch of epidemic prevention materials and daily necessities to the local villagers on behalf of Chinese government. The contents and cost of the donation is unknown.
