Project narrative

On November 4 2022, the China-Africa Development Fund donated four liquid-crystal display (LCD) screens to the Refela Gambia Chapter. The donation was meant to augment the organization's work in its continued advocacy for promoting women and girls in politics. Speaking at the ceremony, Isatou Njie, coordinator of the Refela Gambia Chapter, described the gesture as timely in view of the fact that the organization is committed to empowering women and girls in politics.
