Project narrative

On August 8, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines and the Chinese Consulate in Laoag jointly provided 1,600 food packages containing rice, noodles, oil, and other daily necessities to families in need in Abra Province, Ilocos Sur Province, Mountain Province, and Benguet. This donation came after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake devastated several provinces on July 27, 2022. The individual contributions of the donors are unknown. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. The donations from the Chinese government are hoped to greatly help local governments with disaster relief and rebuilding.
