On April 1, 2022, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, Huang Xilian, met with representatives of the Filipino-Chinese Home for the Aged and the Filipino-Chinese Home for Aged Women and made donations to the nursing homes. The monetary value of these donations is unknown.
