Project narrative

On April 11, 2022, the material handover ceremony for the fifth phase of the Malabo Television Center technical assistance project was held in Equatorial Guinea. The ceremony was attended by Qi Mei, Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea; Serice, Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting of Equatorial Guinea; Owono, Minister of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of Equatorial Guinea; Ondo, Deputy Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting; Esono, Director of Malabo Television Center and Technical Director; and Yu Xinyuhe, Project, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Equatorial Guinea. The material transfer document was signed by China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd. (CJIC) company representatives and the representatives of Televisión de Guinea Ecuatorial (TVGE). The aid supplies included cameras, virtual studio systems, microwave transmission systems, studio lighting equipment, etc., with a total value of approximately 4 million yuan.
