Project narrative

On September 3, 2022, Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, announced during a meeting with the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan that 200 tons of onions would be delivered to flood-affected areas of the country within one week. On September 11, 2022, the donation arrived in Pakistan through the Khunjerab Pass. The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region also donated flood relief supplies worth RMB 1 million to the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan (captured in Record ID#100398).
