Project narrative

On October 7, 2022, a ceremony was held at the Pakistan National Highway Authority Auditorium for the donation of PKR 10 million in flood relief supplies by China State Construction Engineering Corporation to the Pakistan National Highway Authority. The supplies included tents, rice, cooking oil, and other disaster relief supplies. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Pakistan National Highway Authority Muhammad Khurrum Agha, as well as Minister-Counselor Xie Guoxiang and First Secretary Zhu Songsong of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan. CSCEC previously donated food packs to 800 local victims (captured in Record ID#100013), organized free medical clinics (captured in Record ID#100014), and donated PKR 600,000 (captured in Record ID#100015).
