Project narrative

On April 24, 2020, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co. Ltd. (CRRC ZELC) donated medical supplies to the German Red Cross to aid Germany's COVID-19 response. The materials consisted of 1,000 protective suits, 20,000 FFP2 masks, and 80,000 protective masks. The donation was in response to requests from the German Government and the Chinese Embassy in Germany. A spokesperson for the German Red Cross said the supplies would be distributed to the Berlin Red Cross and Berlin medical institutions.
