Project narrative

On January 26, 2022, the Chinese Government donated anti-epidemic supplies to Niger. The donation included 488 varieties of pharmaceutical equipment and epidemic prevention materials. This included 300,000 rapid test kits. The total value of the donation was 200,000,000 CFA. A handover ceremony was held for this donation at Nyamey General Hospital. Jiang Feng, China’s Ambassador to Niger, and Ilyasu Idi Mainasala, Minister of Public Health, Population and Social Affairs of Niger, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Adhos Eric, Director of Niamey General Hospital, the 22nd medical team of China, and staff representatives of Nyamey General Hospital also attended. During the event, Ambassador Jiang Feng and Minister Maina Sara signed project handover certificates on behalf of their respective governments.
