On December 7, 2022, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region dispatched the 23rd Chinese Medical Team to Niger. The medical team arrived in Niger on December 8, 2022, and consisted of 30 medical staffers from south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. While in Niger, the team will carry out medical assistance and health operation support. The monetary value of the team’s contributions are unknown.
