Project narrative

To honor the 15th anniversary of their sister cities partnership, on January 28th, 2022, Gansu Province in China donated a bronze replica of a famous Han Dynasty statue, the Flying Horse of Gansu, to the Uruguayan city of Florida. The gift was presented by Chinese Ambassador to Uruguay, Wang Gang, during Florida's first official Chinese New Year celebration.
