Project narrative

On October 25, 2022, the University of Sichuan donated RMB 197,600 in flood relief goods to support the Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority following severe flooding in the country. The goods were handed over during a handover ceremony, along with donations from 13 Chinese private sector companies. In total, 7 tons of goods and funds worth over RMB 464,000 were donated. The supplies included waterproof tents, blankets, water purifiers, and solar-powered batteries and lights. The Chinese companies that contributed to the donation include Zhongke Industrial Development (Pakistan) Co. Ltd, Zhongjing Supply Chain Management Co. Ltd, Nengduan Jingang, Chengdu Business Service Co. Ltd, Huawei Electromechanical Co. Ltd, Sichuan Dongjianghai Construction, Sichuan Kaicen Enterprise (Group), Chengdu Prigi Business Service Co., Ltd., Trunk Charity, Pure Land Charity, and members of the Pakistan Sichuan Chamber of Commerce.
