On May 11, 2022, China and Myanmar signed an exchange of letters on providing aid to an animal disease laboratory project in Myanmar. The aid will assist in building an animal disease laboratory in Naypyitaw, Myanmar, provide corresponding laboratory instruments and equipment, and organize personnel training to help Myanmar improve its animal disease prevention, control, diagnosis, and monitoring capabilities.
