Project narrative

On January 11, 2022, the first batch of a 1 million COVID-19 vaccine donation from China to Myanmar left Kunming, China. The second batch of this 1 million vaccine donation left Beijing, China on February 9, 2022, with a delivery date in Myanmar of March 10, 2022. The first batch contained 740,000 doses and the second batch contained 253,200 doses.

As such, AidData has estimated the monetary value of the January 2022 donation as $18 million.
