Project narrative

A group of agricultural experts from China were sent to Samoa in May 2021 to work on the Samoa-China Agricultural Technical Aid Project Phase V which would last three years. They planned to train 56 local model farmers, build 60 vegetable tunnel houses, and plant 1,000 citrus trees. This phase of the China-Samoa Agricultural Demonstration Farm is reportedly funded by the Chinese Government through a grant of $110,712 USD. Specifics on the distribution of this financing are unknown.
