Project narrative

On August 1, 2022, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended a handover ceremony for a batch of COVID-19 vaccines donated by China to Tajikistan. On September 23, 2022, the Chinese ambassador to Tajikistan attended another vaccine handover ceremony. Both of these donations were part of the sixth batch of Covid-19 vaccine donations to Tajikistan. This batch of 2.5568 million Sinovac Covid-19 vaccines was broken into 3 sub-batches.
