Project narrative

On September 27, 2022, Shanxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xi'an TCM Hospital of Encephalopathy, and Astana Medical University signed an agreement to establish a China-Kazakhstan Center for Traditional Medicine during the China-Central Asia Friendship Forum. The center is located at A Clinic in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Chinese National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine funded the project. The purpose of the center is to provide a platform for medical experts to carry out various forms of medical exchanges and cooperation, ultimately benefiting the health community of Kazakhstan. The monetary value of this funding is unknown. On December 22, 2022, Chinese Consul General to Almaty, Zhong Hua, the delegation of the Shaanxi Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and representatives of the Almaty Health Bureau, the Medical Insurance Foundation and other institutions attended the inauguration of the Center.
