Project narrative

On June 30, 2022, the Chinese Embassy provided medicine to rural clinics in Papua New Guinea. The purpose of this donation was to help solve medical problems in Hanua, a suburb of Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. About 4,000 people in the area have difficulty seeking medical treatment due to lack of transportation. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. China’s Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Zeng Fanhua, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Prime Minister's Office and Cabinet Department of Papua New Guinea jointly attended the ceremony.
