Project narrative

On September 19, 2022, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas donated 20 million Tenge to victims of forest fires in Kostanay, Kazakhstan. The company transferred 20 million tenge to Kazakhstan's Nationwide Situation Fund to assist in recovery efforts. In 2020, the fires destroyed more than 43 thousand hectares of forest out of the 106 existing in the region. Forest fire spread to settlements. 12 people were injured, one died, and more than 2 thousand residents were evacuated.
