Project narrative

On June 8, 2017, on an official state trip to Kazakhstan, President Xi Jinping and former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a joint statement in which China agreed to provide laboratory equipment to East Kazakhstan. On September 13, 2022, the Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of Chinese Ministry of Commerce with Kazakhstan to further facilitate this donation. This grant can improve the conditions of the quality inspection laboratory in the East Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The quality inspection laboratory is worth RMB 11.15 million (including insurance). The Chinese side will be responsible for transporting the above-mentioned equipment to the destination - Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as sending technical specialists to provide instructions on the installation, adjustment and use of the equipment.
