On December 29, 2022, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Gulnara Baatyrova, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mrs. Du Dewen, discussed the prospects for cooperation in the healthcare sector. During this meeting, it was announced that in 2023, China would donate a mobile hospital to the Kyrgyz Republic. This donation was made as part of the Express Health program. On September 24, 2023, the unveiling ceremony of the donated equipment occurred. The equipment donated included 2 sets of mobile hospitals, with a total of 38 mobile medical equipment, 26 tents, and related supporting materials. Each mobile hospital consists of 19 vehicles, including off-road vehicles, each with its own purpose; there are 38 total vehicles. They are each meant to be served by 60 specialists and can receive 150 patients and perform up to 20 surgical operations per day, with an intensive care room with 8 beds. Each hospital can be assembled in 5 or 6 hours. The monetary value is unknown. One mobile hospital is stationed in Osh and the other in Bishkek. They are handled by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Emergency Situations.
