Project narrative

On November 2nd, 2022, the unveiling ceremony of the “Window to China” reading hall at the Alisher Navoy National Library was held. The reading hall was opened on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China. The embassy assisted the library in decorating the reading hall and donated more than 260 Chinese, English, and Russian books and video materials to the library covering Chinese culture, art, literature, history, tourism, Chinese learning, etc. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
