On April 14, 2022, the Chinese embassy in Monrovia donated a minibus to the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Presidential Center for Women and Development (EJS Center). The handover took place at a formal presentation at the Chinese embassy in Congo Town. This donation is intended to support the center's operations, furthering its mission to achieve gender equity and empower women throughout Liberia.
