Project narrative

On December 19, 2022, Chinese aid was distributed by the Ministry of Refugees to 400 families in Zaranj, the capital of Nimruz province. The aid included food products such as rice and wheat, and non-food items like tents. On December 23, 2022, aid was distributed by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Affairs to 450 needy families in western Nimruz province.

Staff comments

1. Nimruz province can also be spelled Nimroz (Dari/Pashto: نیمروز) 2. It is likely that this is part of a larger aid project, but broader details are not known. It may be connected to Record ID#101012, which was a similar donation made around the same time in neighboring Nimruz province.
