Project narrative

On May 5, 2022, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong donated emergency supplies worth Rs. 10 million to Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Provincial Government of Yunnan. The purpose of this project is to support the Sri Lankan people during the difficult time. The donation includes 13 tons of rice, 6 tons of pigeon peas, 14 tons of sugar and other supplies that are in short supply in Sri Lanka.
