Project narrative

On Dec 2, 2022 the Chinese Embassy in the Dominican Republic donated RD $1,082,296 to the Dominican Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MMARN). The funds were designated for purchasing motorcycles to aid park rangers within the National System of Protected Areas (SINAP), in patrolling and managing protected areas. The signing ceremony for the donation took place in the office of Minister Miguel Ceara Hatton, with Charge d'Affaires Zhou Yuqi representing the Chinese Embassy.
