On June 28, 2022, the Chinse Embassy in Mauritius donated an unknown quantity of household appliances, kitchen appliances, masks, and other unspecified materials to Mauritius SOS Children’s Village. The monetary value of the donation is unknown. The SOS Children's Village supports local orphans and needy children. According to the Children's Village, the Chinese Embassy's donation will help the Children’s Village further improve the children's quality of life and the working conditions of the childcare workers.
