Project narrative

On July 25, 2022, the ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Zhang Yanling, donated a batch of water storage tanks to Antigua and Barbuda to help offset water shortages during a prolonged drought. The donation was intended to be distributed to farmers, single mothers, and other disadvantaged groups that were struggling to access and store water as a result of the drought. The Antiguan and Barbudan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Everly Paul Chet Green, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Barbuda Affairs, Samantha Marshall, and the Minister of Social Transformation and Human Resource Development, Dean Jonas attended the donation ceremony.
