Project narrative

On May 21, 2022, the Government of Hunan Province in China donated a solid waste compactor truck (model ZBH5070ZYS) to the Mayor's Office of the Dominican National District in Santo Domingo through the Chinese Embassy in the Dominican Republic. The donation ceremony, held at the Monumento Fray Antonio de Montesino, was attended by the Mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía; the Chinese Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Zhang Run; Hunan Province officials including Governor Mao Weiming; and representatives from Yingfeng Environmental Technology Group Co. The modern compactor truck, independently developed by Zoom Lion, features a hydraulic system, electrical control system, and other advanced components. The specific value of the vehicle is unknown.
